Prague Choir Tour

Joint Choir Concert:

• Mozart - Ave Verum Corpus
• Fauré - Cantique de Jean Racine
• Fauré - Requiem
  Soloists (Soprano, Baritone) will be auditioned and selected from the joint choir.

• At least 3 rehearsals (sectional, piano and orchestral) with music director Liran Mendel.
• Vocal Masterclass with soprano Yeela Avital.

Our Team:

• Martin Vodrážka, Baritone / Singing Teacher
  The Czech Baritone, Martin Vodrážka, has recorded for Czech Radio & TV and perform in London, Paris, Germany, Austria, Slovakia. He made his debut in Italy in 2013 at the opening concert of Rovereto Mozart Festival. Beside his many concert and opera performances, Mr. Vodrážka is an accomplished teacher of singing.
• Yeela Avital, Tour leader / Singing Teacher
  The award winning, Israeli soprano Yeela Avital, performs frequently as a soloist with ensembles around the world including London, Venice, Budapest, Sophia and the USA alongside well known conductors. In addition, Ms. Avital conducts choirs, teaches and conducts workshops at the Jerusalem Academy of Music.
• Liran Mendel, Music Director
  Liran Mendel is a conductor, organist and entrepreneur based in Berlin. He conduct and record often with the Musica Sancta Ensemble Berlin and has made several arrangements and transcriptions of large symphonic works for organ, ensembles and choirs.

Participant Types and Prices:

• Musician Only Participant - €880 (Decemebr 12 - 15, 2023)
  
  Participate only in the joint choir activities (Rehearsals, MasterClasses and Concert).
  Not included: hotel, opera & concert events, guided tours and city attractions.
  Most suitable for local participants who obviously do not need accommodation or city attractions.
• Active Participant - €1680 (Decemebr 11 - 16, 2023)
  
  A full participant in all the tour activities including both choir activities (Rehearsals, MasterClasses) and attractions such as opera and concert events, guided tours and city attractions.
• Passive Participant - €1480 (Decemebr 11 - 16, 2023)
  
  A semi participant, usually a spouse / friend that enjoys the tour extra attractions such as opera and concert events, guided tours and city attractions without the choir activities (Rehearsals, MasterClasses).

  Dvořák's magical opera in a spectacular production at the Prague State Opera.
• Humperdinck - Hänsel und Gretel
  Prague State Opera
  Humperdinck enchanting opera based on the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.

• Sightseeing Guided Tour
  Guided sightseeing tour in Prague old city: Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, The Jewish Quarter...
• Strahov Library
  Guided tour in the magnificent library of the Strahov Monastery which is considered one if the most beautiful libraries in the world.
• The National Gallery
  Guided tour in the National Gallery's collection of 19 - 20 centuries art with rich collection of world masters, including Klimt, Van Gogh, Picasso and Schiele.
• Convent of Saint Agnes
