Joint Choir Concert:

Concert at the Church of St. Simon and Jude
Prague Choir Meetings
  • Dvořák - Excerpts from Stabat Mater
    Soloists (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) will be auditioned and selected from the joint choir.
  • Fauré - Requiem
    Soloists (Soprano, Baritone) will be auditioned and selected from the joint choir.
Additional Activities:
  • 3 choir rehearsals (sectional, piano and orchestral)
  • Private Voice Lesson with soprano Yeela Avital
  • Participants Recital Concert (including professional video recording)
  • Vocal Masterclass with soprano Yeela Avital.
Minimum requirements:
  • Past experience singing in a Classical Choir (amateur or professional).
  • Score reading.
  • Yeela Avital, Tour leader and vocal coach
    The award winning, Israeli soprano Yeela Avital, performs frequently as a soloist with ensembles around the world and sings alongside well known conductors. In addition, Ms. Avital conducts choirs, teaches and conducts workshops at the Jerusalem Academy of Music. Yeela Avital
  • Liran Mendel, Music Director
    Liran Mendel is a conductor, organist and entrepreneur based in Berlin. He conduct and record often with the Musica Sancta Ensemble Berlin and has made several arrangements and transcriptions of large symphonic works for organ, ensembles and choirs. >Liran Mendel, Music Director

Participant Types and Prices:

  • Basic Participant - €780
    Participate only in the vocal activities (Rehearsals, MasterClasses, Private lessons and Concerts).
    Not included: hotel and external opera / ballet events.
    Most suitable for local participants who obviously do not need accomodation.
  • Full Participant - €1350
    A full participant in all the tour activities including hotel accomodation, all vocal activities (Rehearsals, MasterClasses, Private lessons and Concerts) and external opera / ballet events.

  • 13:00 - Introductory meeting with the tour leader (Yeela Avital) and music director (Liran Mendel).
  • 16:00 - Soprano / Alto Section Rehearsal.
  • 18:00 - Tenor / Bass Section Rehearsal.
Day 2 - 27/3/2024 (Wednesday)
  • 10:00 - Private sessions - voice lessons
  • 14:00 - Choir Rehearsal (Piano).
  • 19:00 - MasterClass with Yeela Avital
Day 3 - 28/3/2024 (Wednesday)
  • 10:00 - Choir Rehearsal (Orchestra).
  • 14:00 - Private sessions - voice lessons
  • 19:30 - Romeo and Juliet at the State Opera
Day 4 - 29/3/2024 (Thursday)
  • 10:00 - Private sessions - voice lessons.
  • 17:30 - General choir rehearsal.
  • 19:30 - Choir Concert.
Day 5 - 30/3/2024 (Friday)
  • 15:00 - Participants recital concert.
  • 19:30 - La Traviata at the State Opera.
Day 6 - 31/3/2024 (Saturday)
  • 10:00 - Final meeting and goodbye.
